Larkin Stentz: Meditation Teacher & Professional Flutist
Larkin’s Meditation Training Journey
Prior to his freshman year of college Larkin read, “As A Man Thinketh” by James Allen, which launched his journey of self discovery. During his freshman year he took the TM training and received his personal mantra. Another book that influenced his inner journey was, “The Only Dance There Is” by Ram Dass. His teachings on meditation breathing and focusing on the molecules of air as they entered and left the nose was yet another tool that excited Larkin. “I Thou” by Martin Buber helped him realize his connection to all beings, including trees, rocks, water, etc.
Many years later, a seven day Sasheen (or total silent meditation course) with a Korean Zen Master opened the door to his deep innerconnectedness that exists within and around us all. There, Larkin had a profound experience of watching everything around him dissolve, carpets melting and reforming, walls vanishing to leave the outdoors in view, to reassemble moments later. He had no feeling, no pain, no pleasure, no hunger, nor the stiffness that had plagued him for four days. He had a new presence of mind and body, without borders for the next three days.
Larkin’s graduation event occurred three months later. He had been so opened to the universe that a magical energy surrounded him, insisting he accept special power. It felt wrong somehow, and out of tune with the feelings he had experienced earlier. An inner battle raged within him and he was taken to the edge of consciousness where he chose to accept Truth, Light, and Love as his guiding life principles over the “magical” powers that were offered to him. Upon making that decision, he was lifted into a bright loving light of unconditional love. Now, teaching meditation is an act of love, allowing him to share tools of awareness that can assist others in connecting to their inner loving presence.
Beth Bauer: The Mindfulness Happiness Connection
Beth traveled to over 30 countries in the past few years in search of happiness. What she realized is that happiness is a journey, and not a destination and she’s eager to share her insights with others to help them live a happier life. You’ve probably heard it said many times, “Happiness is a choice.” But is it really that simple? If it were, everyone would be happy. So what does mindfulness have to do with happiness? What’s the connection? In this workshop you will learn how to be more mindful (aware) of the things that interfere with your happiness and how to prevent them. Beth has a an acronym for it – FEEDBACK. Learn how FEEDBACK can help you be happier in any circumstance.
Beth Bauer has taught workshops and classes at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington and currently teaches at Grays Community College in Ilwaco, Washington. She has also been a trainer for many corporate clients and non profit organizations, both in the U.S and overseas.
Kelly Marie Dawson
Kelly Marie Dawson began her Yoga Journey with the Breath when she was diagnosed with a pulmonary disease. In 2012 Kelly’s doctor prescribed Yoga to help her with her breathing. She began a yoga journey where Svadhyaya, self-study, assisted her on the path of clarity and understanding. Kelly soon noticed that she was stronger in all areas of her life. The transformation continues every day through the practice.
Kelly Marie is a 500 RYT Yoga teacher and received training in ceremonies, rituals, and artistic expression through Shamanism in Ecuador. She specializes in creating a yoga experience for you through the breath, movement, and your inner wisdom by using creative visualization and meditation. She encourages her students to let go of old ways of thinking and become curious, one breath at a time.
Healthy Living through Prana and Breath Work
Pranayama is the practice of breath control in Yoga. Learn to breathe fully and live life without trying to control, grasp, or push. The flow of breathing is a metaphor we have for the way we live our life and how we react to changes that life brings us. Students will learn different breathing techniques and how to cultivate mindfulness through the practice of asana, pranayama, and meditation.
Shamanic Journey Cacao Ceremony
Shamanic Journey combines ritual and play with a practice that will honor the seen and the unseen worlds. Setting intentions as you are guided through meditation, into your heart center. Enjoy this powerful Cacao medicine, as we honor the earth elements, four directions and enjoy a DRUM WASH. Sharing in this sacred space we celebrate transformation and an inner calm. Students will learn about rituals, through ceremony from movement, stillness, and the 5 senses. At the end of class students will be invited to talk and write about their journey.
Padme Grace, owner of Pacific Integrated Martial Arts and My Keto Sensei, found her passion for guiding others toward their best selves through the martial arts. She holds multiple black belts and has been a health and wellness lifestyle coach for over 20 years. Her extensive education includes NASM CPT personal trainer certification with specialties in corrective exercise and fitness nutrition, NLP neuro-linguistic programming and CBT cognitive behavioral therapy.
She embraces a holistic approach with her coaching clients. The main force behind My Keto Sensei is a deep desire to empower and support individuals in achieving their long-term diet and nutrition goals through a low carb way of eating. Whether you’re seeking help with weight loss, sports nutrition, or disease prevention, each client is individually evaluated and provided with a well-researched and comprehensive plan for nutrition, movement, sleep and relaxation they can follow for the attainment of their goals.
Padme’s baby is her martial arts school, Pacific Integrated Martial Arts, in Long Beach. It is a multiple style fitness facility delivering character building life skills along with its family-friendly atmosphere.
Qigong Shibashi Tai Chi: Peaceful Motion for Health
This class leads you through a peaceful, beautiful, and gentle flowing Qigong exercise that creates euphoric relaxed feelings, and at the same time is physically stimulating.
The rocking motions and stretching movements gently massage the internal organs, stimulate the energy meridians, move the major joints, and improve circulation and digestion. The chest exercises and controlled breathing are good for the heart, lung conditions and asthma related problems. The overall effect of the routine is to reduce mental stress and physical tension carried in the muscles of the body.
Six steps of Qigong
1. Calm mind-empty the mind of all thoughts focusing on the breath
2. Relax body- by deeper fuller and slower breathing
3. Qi flows freely through the body to open meridians (energy pathways)
4. Mind directs the Qi
5. Can absorb the Qi where needed as meridians are clear and open
6. Can release the Qi…letting go or direct it.
These movements are suitable for practiced by anyone regardless of age and can be done seated or standing.

Peggy was injured by her doctor while giving birth, and it led to massive blood loss and severe postpartum complications. As a result, she lost her health, income, insurance, career, and ultimatley, her marriage, home, and family life. She also lost something more, her sense of safety and security, sense of humor, joy, and love of life.
She began a 20-year journey into the darkness of chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, and a sense of loss so deep the sadness crushed her spirit. Throughout her journey back to health, miracles began to happen daily, and she was re-awakened to the presence of her very soul. Peggy now shares the tools and insights she used to find her way back to the light with her yoga students in Spokane, Washington.

Profound change is made possible only through each small, doable step. When we gaze at the summit of our goals we often feel defeated, the distance from here to there rendering us immobile. But when we take our gaze downward and inward, we put our power and energy in the present; we celebrate small victories each day, making our goals ours now. Physical tools and totems make these processes tangible, magical, natural, and bring our bodies, minds, and surroundings a little closer to nature.
